National Creativity Olympiad (NCO) 25 – Jamshedpur The Science of today is the Technology of tomorrow.The National creativity Olympiad was organised in the steel city, Jamshedpur on 19th and 20th of April 2025. This was the 20th edition of this STEM competition organised by the Institute of Engineers. Altogether 18 outstation and 6 local teams participated after the preliminary screening rounds.

The two days long Olympiad focused basically on thermodynamics and mechanics. The modelling challenges were thrown to the teams and the guidelines were laid. Then there was an inspection round to judge the working of these models. This followed by the cultural and art related activities.

The teams were given around six hours to prepare their model and exhibit their skills.

Our team comprised of four students, namely, Sachhit Soni, Kris Gupta, Aditya Kumar Sinha and Shreyas Kumar (all from class X) along with the mentor teacher: Sameer Kumar Mishra participated from DPS Patna for this event

Delhi Public School Patna was the overall winner of the competition. The first prize in the model making competition was bagged by Army Public School Guwahati.
