Poster Making Organised By Intach Heritage, Delhi

Students of Classes VI to X enthusiastically participated in a poster-making competition organized by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Delhi, on 6 March, 2026 for its January–March newsletter on the theme “Mountains at Risk.” The competition aimed to raise awareness among young learners about the environmental challenges faced by mountain ecosystems and the need for their conservation. Students showcased remarkable creativity and awareness through their posters, highlighting issues such as deforestation, climate change, melting glaciers, and irresponsible tourism in mountainous regions. The activity also encouraged students to think critically about environmental protection and sustainable practices. After careful selection at the school level, 23 outstanding posters were shortlisted and sent to INTACH for consideration in the newsletter.

The efforts and creativity of the students were well appreciated by the organization. Among the participants, eight students were honoured with certificates and prizes in recognition of their exceptional work and thoughtful representation of the theme. The winners are Md. Adil Mahmood (10G), Rayna Singh(8F), Adya Sharma (8F), Ramya Riddhya (8E), Atharva Choubey (8A) Akshat Sharma (8D), Angelica Payal (7B), and Vidya (7B). Their achievement brought great pride to the school and served as an inspiration for others to participate in such meaningful initiatives. The event successfully fostered environmental awareness and encouraged students to express their ideas through art while contributing to a larger cause of heritage and nature conservation.
