Delhi Public School, Patna proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Ashmit Raj (Class X), Founder of Nirogify, who was the only school student invited by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Bihar, to participate in the prestigious IT Startup Interaction Meet held at the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Patna, on 19 June 2026. The event was graced by Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon'ble Union Minister of Electronics & Information Technology, Railways and Information & Broadcasting, Government of India; Shri Samrat Choudhary, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar; Shri Nitish Mishra, Hon'ble IT Minister, Government of Bihar, along with senior government officials, startup founders, and industry leaders. Ashmit's invitation was a recognition of his innovation journey through Nirogify, a healthcare-focused startup that has earned accolades at several prestigious platforms, including the CBSE National Science Exhibition (2023), NEC E-Summit IIT Bombay (2025), IIC Regional Meet (2025), IYIIC (2025), BCSC (2025), UDGAM E-Summit IIT Guwahati (2026), and the TYE Global Finals 2026. Among nearly 40 start ups selected from across Bihar, only three innovations were chosen for exclusive showcase stalls, and Nirogify was one of them. Significantly, Ashmit was the only school student among all the selected innovators.

During the event, Ashmit presented a live demonstration of Nirogify to the Hon'ble Union Minister and other dignitaries, explaining its purpose, development journey, and potential social impact. He later shared how the idea evolved from a school project in 2023 into a market-ready innovation and highlighted the need for support in patent filing, research, product refinement, and manufacturing. Ashmit acknowledged the encouragement of the school, and the facilities provided through the school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). He also expressed gratitude to TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) and CIMP for strengthening his entrepreneurial journey. Impressed by the innovation, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw assured support for patent facilitation, mentorship, and product development. He also suggested collaborating with leading hospitals for research, testing, and further refinement. Following the programme, Shri Nitish Mishra and Shri Kumud Kumar, Director, CIMP, discussed the future roadmap of Nirogify and encouraged the team to initiate the patent process, assuring support from the Government of Bihar. This achievement reflects DPS Patna's commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
