A special assembly on the topic “Helping Hands” took place with great enthusiasm and active participation from the Preparatory children. The little ones began the program with a confident introduction, setting the tone for a meaningful and joyful morning. The assembly started with a soulful Shloka followed by a prayer, filling the atmosphere with positivity. The children presented lively English and Hindi rhymes, winning hearts with their sweet voices and expressions. To highlight the importance of community helpers, one child from each section came forward dressed as different community helpers, such as a teacher, doctor, or traffic police.

They spoke confidently about their roles in society. This added meaning and realism to the theme while showcasing the children’s awareness and confidence. The cultural segment included a vibrant dance performance by the children, dressed as community helpers. Their colorful costumes and graceful moves brought to life the spirit of gratitude and respect for all those who make our lives easier. As a delightful surprise, the assembly concluded with a wonderful teachers’ dance, making the event even more special for the little ones.  Headmistress addressed the children and praised them for their good work. She appreciated their confidence, creativity, and enthusiastic participation. Her encouraging words motivated the young learners to continue giving their best in every activity.

After the assembly, the fun continued with engaging activities. In the classrooms, children participated in an indoor clay dough activity, where they created simple tools used by community helpers. They also enjoyed a creative art task where they colored the red cross sign on a nurse’s hat, wore it proudly, and took it home as a special keepsake. Outdoors, they played the energetic Red Light, Green Light Game, a fun activity where children moved on “green light” and stopped on “red light,” helping them develop listening skills and learn to follow instructions. The day was filled with learning, creativity, and joy, creating a memorable celebration of the helping hands that make a difference in our daily lives.
